![]() ![]() However, this is the sport of bodybuilding and truth is, prep is a numbers game. Heck, some of the things that must be done are anything but healthy. Serious dieting and contest prepping isn't about "eating healthy". You are trying to acheive a target condition by a target date- best way to do this is "budget" your calories on yes, spreadsheets. You wouldn't haphazardly save $2 one week, $500 the next, $20 the next 2 weeks and then $3000 the next month, would you? Any organized and logical person would create a budget, and save a fixed amount at fixed intervals to ENSURE that the target amount and target date is met. What I say to that is this example: Say you wanted to buy a house and needed to make a 50K down payment by X date. A lot of people will say to me "why can't you eat sushi? Sushi is healthy" or "what if we order a pizza and just go light on the cheese?". ![]() Either that or take up ski ball or something where you dont have to diet.īolded is what I have to explain to people over and over again about dieting for a show.lol. Unfortunately, us endomorphs dont really have choice if we want to step on stage. Take short break at maintenance calories, and then diet for another two months, and then take another break at maintenance calories, and then make the final cut to show next year or something. If you dont want to diet for another 20 weeks or so, I would suggest chunking your diet into mini cuts. I would consider that about 20-25 weeks out. Im an endo as well, and thats about where I sit at the end of my off season. Second thing.lean bulking isnt going to help you get ready any faster because no matter how lean you bulk, youre going to add more fat. ![]() It need to be more precise than just 1-2 scoops of protein powder. So, the first piece of advice I would lend (besides waiting on competition) would be to get a scale and some measuring cups and start tracking your diet. Tracking macro nutrient numbers is essential to getting lean. COuple things.dieting is not about "eating clean". ![]()
